Silent retreat day

Unplug for a day of silence at Kadampa Meditation Centre Reading and enjoy developing some mental peace.

This day retreat will include 3 sessions of guided meditation and advice for taking care of your mind. The break times will be silent throughout the centre and there is space for you to relax with a book or a cup of tea.

Participants are encouraged to take a day out of their busy lives by switching off their devices so as to make the most of the time to rest and reflect.

Are you tired of feeling constantly on the go? Do you feel like you are always on call? These experiences are common in our fast paced modern lives. Why not take some time to unplug at our relaxing silent day retreat.

3 sessions of guided meditation and advice for letting go of stress, taking the pressure off and learning to live a happy and healthy life. Learn how to go into the peace within your heart and enjoy a real break from the stresses and strains of daily life.

We can get away from our normal daily life by going for a day out or holiday but unless we learn how to let go of the stress through meditation, we can end up carrying our stresses and worries with us wherever we go.

Come and learn some helpful techniques for letting go and learning to deeply relax. Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.

Members can attend this event free of charge – just pay £3.50 for lunch
