When life gets tough, our natural reaction is to resist or feel overwhelmed. But through meditation and using timeless Buddhist wisdom, we can learn a different way — one that brings peace, strength, and genuine freedom.
We will explore how to stay balanced and happy even when things don’t go our way. Each class introduces practical methods for transforming problems into spiritual growth.
Through developing patient acceptance, compassion, and wisdom, we can discover an unshakeable resilience — a mind that remains calm and positive no matter what life brings.

You Will Learn:
• How to stop being controlled by external circumstances
• How to accept and respond wisely to challenges
• How to use meditation to transform adversity into strength
• How compassion and wisdom give rise to genuine resilience

WEEK 1: Understanding problems and how our mind determines our experience.
WEEK 2: Acceptance – The Foundation of Resilience and the key to emotional strength.
WEEK 3: Transforming Adversity – Using challenges to develop wisdom, compassion, and inner power.
WEEK 4: How to build emotional resilience by expanding beyond self-centered thinking.
WEEK 5: Wisdom and the Freedom to Let Go

With Gen Nyingpo

Meditation is becoming increasingly recognized as an effective means to reduce stress and improve our quality of life, however it also has much deeper and far-reaching benefits that have been understood by Buddhist practitioners for thousands of years.

The benefits of meditation include:

– Effective means to reduce stress & anxiety
– Improves mindfulness & concentration
– Promotes a more positive approach to life
– Aids relaxation and letting go of tension

Each class consists of two guided meditations and instruction. Anyone can practice meditation and everyone is welcome to attend.
